This current model of extraction is part of a much large global supply network. The raw material
being extracted therefore must travel long distances to be processed and refined into usable
products before being brought back to the region that initially extracted them. With the introduction of mobile regional production centers smaller communities no longer need
to rely on these global supply networks in order to reap the benefits of their production and extraction. Instead the infrastructure needed to compete with large companies is accessible to all
small farms on a community wide basis. These production centers are autonomous mobile harvesting and processing machines that move from small farm to farm converting the monoculture cash crop of corn into a diverse array of useable products and resources.
