This house is designed to maximize usable work space for the engineer/creator clients. The home is built around a large workshop and courtyard that begins in the basement floor and continues up to the ground floor. The rest of the spaces are design around a central staircase that separates the public and private areas of the house. A series of large operable screens offers both privacy and sun shading on the busy northern and western sides of the house.
